What I Wore - Teal & Navy

Not a combination I would normally pair together- but I LOVED the color of the top and I am kind of obsessed with these pants. They are the hampton crop pant from Banana Republic- my favorite store. They are kind of pricey, but BR has 40% off sales all the time, which turns them into a steal of a deal!
Being very petite (5'2" on a good day) I have an ongoing struggle with finding pants that don't drag or need to be hemmed. Which is why I am loving the cropped pant trend going on that I'm hoping is here to stay!
Also, I've been spending lots of time in the clinic setting instead of the hospital (seriously missing wearing scrubs everyday) so lately I've been putting together "office" looks. This combination has been my favorite and the most comfortable so far!

 Not only do I love the fit and length of these pants, but look at that pattern and the texture is amazing! Love love love them.

Top:  Old Navy, Necklace: GroopDealz, Belt: H&M, Pants: Banana Republic Hampton Fit Crop Pant , Handbag: Kate Spade, Shoes: Banana Republic

My one warning about these pants- buy 1 size smaller than you normally would. How great is that?! I made the mistake of buying my normal size and they were kind of puffy looking and way too big in the waist. I quickly called the store and luckily they had the size I needed! Now they are perfect! :)

Cookie Cutter Valentine's Cards

I was reading Better Homes & Garden and came across Valentine's Day cards made with cookie cutters.
Perfect for those rainy days and little hands! This weekend we had big brother's birthday party and after having 25 kids over, I needed an easy activity. Dad and baby sis were taking a nap and this was a quick set up and clean up.
You need:
Paint
Roller Brush
Paper
Cookie Cutters {we used hearts, X, O, I, and U}
Stickers {just in case the littlest wants more to do}
 I saw some convo hearts from one of my favorite decor shops and they said, "Pin Me, Tweet Me & Like Me!"
I thought they were cute and threw some onto a card while I was watching the kids make theirs.
My hubs woke up while we were painting away and only the "pin me" had been stamped.
He doesn't belong to any social media so I'm pretty sure he thought this card was for him and I let him think that for a bit.
I like to watch him blush and squirm.
He's one sweet man for putting up with it.
 Spending time with my boy and girl was awesome.
I couldn't have enjoyed it more.
There were compliments given, sharing, teaching, taking turns, asking politely, and cleaning up afterwards.
My sweet boy tried so hard to copy what I was doing and I liked his even more.
 We think this one will go to Grandma & Papa.
 A few will go to their uncles (my baby brothers)

 I'm in love with little hands. She has just the right amount of chub to still be my baby, but also the right amount of bone to be an independent little toddler.
 Our collection of cards ready to go out to some of our loves!

Easy craft for a day in!

What I Wore-Tribal Wear

Is anyone else dreaming about sundresses, tan lines, and sandals?? I have been! I'm probably going to look back and regret this when the Texas summer rolls in with all its humidity, heat, and super-sized blood-sucking mosquitos. So for now I am going to try to enjoy movie nights in, big cozy blankets, hot chocolate, and cute winter clothes!
I have been seeing tribal pieces everywhere it seems like. I think they are so cute, but every time I try a top, jacket, etc. on it either doesn't look good, I feel like I can't pull it off, or I like it but I know I won't wear it. Well I finally found the perfect pattern, colors, and comfort in this jacket. Bonus- it was on black friday so it was a pretty sweet deal!... Well Mr. H. would probably disagree with that last statement- but anything from Anthropologie on sale on top of the sale price seems like a good deal!

It was a super cold day that day, but with this wrap I hardly noticed!
Jacket: Anthropologie, Top: Target, Jeans: Banana Republic, Boots: Target
