Everyone deals with tragedy and pain in their own way.
For me, I step back, cry, reevaluate, make sure my priorities are where I want them to be, worry, have a bit of anxiety, and slowly get back into my routine.
I cherish more, my level of patience increases, and I'm more aware of the little moments that for a mom are the big ones.
The example that I set is what is important to me and to my growing babes, so for this weeks What I Wore I had guests.
As I was lifting my dress to get pictures of my darling
bow shoes, I noticed someone had joined me in hopes of playing princess with our pretty dresses.
Do you see that sweet button nose, painted nails and ear to ear smile?
Be still my heart.

I'm kind of obsessed with bows right now.
I posted
here wearing a bow bracelet, bow bun, and a scarf tied like a bow.
My dad is the other guest. Every year at the beginning of December and for the whole month of December he is Mr. Festive at church. People always tell me they want to dress like him when they grow up. Seriously such a stud. He alternates with navy, green, red, and red plaid.
Can you imagine how excited he was when I told him I was going to take pictures and then post them on my blog for "the whole world" to see? He has 2 daughters and is quite a good sport. Solid, plaid, stripes, and ostrich red boots...I think he's got style!
